The collection includes biographical information and obituaries of founders, leaders, professors, and students; grants of faculty tenure; reports from the deans of the School of Law; letters and reports from Barry University leaders concerning various topics, including grant funding; school information pamphlets, registration forms, and schedules; academic calendars; classroom and exam calendars; event information, invitations, and programs; commencement and baccalaureate invitations and programs; directories; campus newsletters; campus maps; informational websites and emails; press releases and newspaper and journal reports and clippings; law clinics reports, event information, registration materials, and applications; published articles by faculty members; list of trial teams participation and successes; various Bar Associations' newsletters; Bar Exam results; various meeting documents from the American Association of Law Librarians; by-laws of the Orlando Student Bar Association; DVD's and CD-ROM's containing information and events including commencement programs; campaign banners and buttons; one "absorbing stone" coaster with the Barry University School of Law shield on it. Unusual information includes reports, letters and clippings of the Elian Gonzalez incident in Miami, in which the Barry University President, Sister Jeanne O'Laughlin, participated. Many entries are included regarding the difficult application process for Barry University School of Law to receive full accreditation from the American Bar Association, including court papers, petitions, and Amecus Briefs, in addition to numerous clippings, emails, reports, and letters on the subject.
